The sporty new Kia pro_cee'd is distinctive with its athletic styling, its low stance and coupé profile ticking all the right boxes. Designed and conceived in Europe, the kia pro_cee'd is undeniably from the Kia family.

Beneath the stylish exterior there is top quality engineering. The reinforced bodyshell offers outstanding aerodynamics and advantages in terms of handling, ride quality and durability.

The Kia pro_cee'd is a star in its own right. Elongated doors and a strong shoulder-line accentuate the dynamic wedge-shape profile. There are distinguishing features to the pro_cee'd: the sports grille, the wide bumper and stylish spoiler on the rear roof line, black bezel headlamps, striking rear light clusters and a bold stainless steel exhaust pipe, creating a bold yet agile look to round of this unique vehicle.

The top-of-the-range pro_cee'd ‘3' is fitted with a set of stylish 17" Hyper silver alloy Wheels should you wish to boost the sporting prowess. Inside the pro_cee'd there is a leather-clad steering wheel, gearshift and parking lever (not available on pro_cee'd "1"). The seats feature a contemporary tyre-track pattern fabric. The stitched finishing touches are repeated on the steering wheel and centre armrest console. Stainless steel signature door-scuff plates, alloy pedals and black gloss details throughout the cabin ensure the sportiness is carried throughout the whole design.

There is a beautifully crafted spacious, ergonomic cockpit with everything in easy reach to make your life easier. For example, there are the steering wheel buttons which allow you to change volume or, check vital journey statistics in safety with ease. The three-dial instrument panel incorporates the convenient trip computer display. All essential data is displayed with atmospheric red illumination. There's plenty of well-considered technology for increased comfort and minimum distraction.

Saftey is a priority in the the pro_cee'd and you will find it fitted with six airbags as standard: twin front airbags, front side airbags and full-length curtain airbags to protect rear passengers. There are active headrests on the front seats which help prevent whiplash neck and head injuries during an impact.

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) ensures excellent stability. The rigid bodyshell structure is engineered for extra stiffness. Key areas are fitted with high tensile-strength steel to provide outstanding crash protection. At the same time, carefully positioned crumple zones absorb energy during a collision, dampening the impact on the vehicle occupants. The safety features on the Kia pro_cee'd provide total peace of mind.

All five seats are fitted with 3-point seatbelts and seatbelt reminders (excluding 1.4 litre petrol). To protect you against theft, standard security measures include an electronic immobiliser, remote central locking, perimeter alarm, visible VIN and deadlocks. Thanks to speed-sensing auto locking, the doors lock when you pull away to keep you secure and, in the unlikely event of an accident, unlock automatically.

The pro_cee'd range offers active driving technology to enhance road handling and stability. To ensure a responsive and comfortable drive there is fully independent front and rear suspension combined with electric power assisted steering meaning you are in complete control of the road ahead.

The pro_cee'd is available in a choice of 1.4 litre (89 bhp) or 1.6 litre (126 bhp) petrol engines which feature CVVT (Continuous Variable Valve Timing) technology and electronic fuel injection to boost performance. The petrol models are fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox for smooth gear changes.

If you would prefer a diesel engine, you'll enjoy fuel economy and the key the triumph of these engines is a range of advanced technologies including an innovative turbocharger and second generation Bosch fuel injection. There is a new 1.6 litre CRDi (diesel) model with either a 89 or 113 bhp power output. Both diesel engines are fitted with 6-speed manual transmissions as standard.

You can choose a smooth 4-speed petrol automatic transmission as an option on certain grades should you wish your vehicle to do more of the work.

Kia have launched brand new EcoDynamics technology to the cee'd range - Kia's first showcase of eco-friendly and forward thinking systems on our the1.6 litre CRDi (89bhp) diesel engine. Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG) technology. This fantastic bit of technology means when you stop at traffic lights, put the vehicle into neutral and remove your foot from the clutch, the engine will switch off, and as soon as you de-press the clutch the engine will switch on again instantly so are ready to move off. ISG technology can reduce fuel consumption by up to 12%, whilst reducing noise and exhaust emissions too. With low resistance tyres (on all 15" and16" wheels) increasing the overall efficiency of the cee'd range. All elements work together to create what Kia call "EcoDynamics.
