It's not by chance that the Kia Sedona has become one of the world's best selling MPVs. Its unique combination of power, safety and class-leading space and comfort make it one of the most adaptable MPVs on the road.

The full-sized seven-seat new Sedona range comprises three exciting models: Sedona 1, Sedona 2 and the top-of-the range Sedona 3. The entire range features a new 2.2 litre CRDi (diesel) engine with 6-speed transmission combined with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The refined performance is matched by its stylish new exterior. Its great looks begin with Kia's new signature "tiger-nose" grille which is complemented by body coloured bumpers, door mirrors and handles accentuating its clean and contemporary lines.

The new Sedona boasts a standard specification you would normally only expect on a far more expensive vehicle including six airbags, air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, dual sliding doors and a 6-speaker CD audio system with MP3 player and AUX/USB ports. Drive a Sedona 2 or the top-of-the-range Sedona 3 and you'll find an array of new features including the hi-tech reversing camera. For even greater road safety, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control (TCS) and Brake Assist (BAS) improves stability by correcting under or oversteer in extreme driving conditions - this feature is standard on the top-of-the-range Sedona 3 and can be added as an option on the rest of the range.

Space and versatility do not come at the expense of performance. The 2.2 litre CRDi engine delivers an increased power output of 192 bhp. One of the most powerful engines in its class, it will take you from 0-62 mph in just 11.3 seconds (manual models). Combine this with greatly enhanced handling provided by independent suspension from MacPherson struts in the front and in-wheel type multi-links at the rear, and you're guaranteed a supple and responsive ride.

The all round visibility delivered by the elevated driving position is just one of the thoughtful touches that the Sedona provides. The user-friendly dashboard and wealth of ingeniously designed storage compartments, folding seat tables, and front and rear electric windows and numerous cup holders make riding in the Sedona a pleasure; while the driver's seat adjustable lumbar support and steering wheel tilt height adjustment make driving it a breeze too. The Sedona's seven ergonomically crafted full-size seats - front seats have padded armrests - are arranged in a 2+3+2 configuration and allow for exceptional flexibility. Sliding and reclining seats are available on the front and third rows too.
