Meet the facelift Kia Rio

This autumn, the dynamic 5-door Kia Rio supermini is turning heads once again after a facelift thats has refined its styling, inside and out. There are four models to choose from, the Kia Rio '1', Kia Rio '2' and top-of-the-range Rio Graphite, plus the Special Edition Kia Rio Strike.

Take a look at the facelift Rio's stylish new 'tiger-nose' grille (designed by Kia's design chief, Peter Schryer), body coloured bumpers and side mouldings, and black bezel restyled headlights. On the inside, the Rio has a superb standard specification, including a newly designed four-spoke steering wheel taken from the stylish Kia Soul range, with the convenience of a tilt adjust function, CD audio with MP3 player and 60:40 split folding seats.

Diesel enthusiasts will be impressed with the Kia Rios common rail 1.5 litre CRDI diesel engine featuring a variable geometry turbocharger. Delivering more power (109bhp) than most other diesels in its class, it is undeniably lively. The Kia Rio's 1.4 litre 16valve petrol engine brings 96bhp, generous power with economical fuel consumption to match. The manual transmission is ideal for those looking for a sporty run up throught the gears and optimum performance, on the other hand the optional four spedd automatic gearbox delivers a smooth comfortable drive.
