Fiat Panda 2012

This year Fiat unveil the latest addition to the Panda range, with improvements in almost every aspect of the vehicle, the new Panda is something that cannot be missed. Fiat panda is the byword for substance, practicality and usefulness, and the car emphasises these traits in a number of ways, from the way a whole team of engineers was assigned to perfect the car’s ergonomics to the increased storage space.

The Fiat Panda is styled to be typically Italian. Its softened edges give it a more modern look that is easy and pleasing to the eye. The elegant front grille and newly designed rounded headlamps give the car the appearance of a smiling face which provides a happy welcome to those who see it and continues to charm on the inside.

For example, the way the door speaker is raised to not only provide greater pocket space, but also greater sound quality, as well as the way the gear lever is in a raised position near the steering wheel to provide more dashboard storage bays but also to provide greater and easier use of the gear lever when driving in small areas such as cities. Passengers feel more like guests in the Panda, with more leg room and a more advanced and superior build quality, the interior is designed to be something that pleases.

The Panda is designed primarily for the city. A compact car that provides great practicality and storage for those who don’t wish to be forced into the MPV market. Its smart size, improved safety and award winning economical engines make it a winner. Such things as the larger bump strips on the side and raised lights on the front and rear are designed to protect against and avoid unnecessary damage from bumps and scrapes.

The award winning engines in the Panda provide class leading fuel consumption and emissions with the 85HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo being named ‘International Engine of the Year 2011’. All Panda engines come in a number of sizes and are fitted with Start&Stop technology and 5-speed gearboxes as standard that provide a range of choice between eco-friendly driving or a sporty and pacey drive.
